Glastonbury and Street Lions Club (CIO)

The end of January saw a meeting of minds in Glastonbury Town Hall for the annual Brains of Avalon Quiz organised by Glastonbury and Street Lions Club (CIO). Dozens of keen quizzers battled it out over 15 rounds of questions with the lead swapping from team to team over the course of the night. As the final round started there were potentially three winning teams but Middlerump, a team from Middlezoy, drew away and emerged as champions! 

The evening was a huge success and raised nearly £600 for local charities. Lion President Derek Green thanked everyone for attending and supporting the event and presented Middlerump with the winners shield.
