“Pillory to Parliament” – Talk by Andrew Janes
“Pillory to Parliament” – 2:30pm on Thursday 11th April – in the Studio at The Red Brick Building, Glastonbury. Andrew Janes recounts the story of two Members of Parliament, father and son, one of whom was ejected from the House for perjury, stood in the pillory, who was later pardoned and re-elected.
SDFHS members £2.50, visitors £3.00. The studio is on the first floor, a lift is available. Refreshments available from the ground floor café before or after the meeting.
